Privacy policy

1. What data we collect

Calculator inputs: All numbers you enter into our calculators are processed entirely in your browser using JavaScript. No calculation data is ever sent to our servers. When you close the tab, your inputs are gone.

Server logs: Like every website, our web server automatically records basic access logs (IP address, browser type, page requested, timestamp). These logs are used solely for security monitoring and are automatically deleted after 30 days. We do not link these logs to any personally identifiable information.

We do NOT collect:

• Names, email addresses, or phone numbers
• Financial data, health data, or tax information
• Location data (beyond what IP addresses reveal at the country level)
• Cookies for tracking or profiling

2. Cookies

We use minimal, functional cookies only:

• Essential cookies: For basic site functionality (e.g., remembering your preference if you dismiss a notice). These are first-party and do not track you.
• Analytics: We may use a privacy-respecting analytics tool (such as Plausible or Umami) that does not use cookies, does not collect personal data, and does not track users across websites. No Google Analytics.
• Advertising cookies: If we display ads, the ad network may set cookies. We select ad partners that comply with privacy regulations. You can opt out of personalised ads through your browser settings or the ad network’s opt-out page.

3. Third-party services

We use the following third-party services:

• Google Fonts: For typography (Plus Jakarta Sans, JetBrains Mono). Google may log font requests. Google Fonts privacy FAQ.
• Chart.js: Loaded from a CDN (cdnjs.cloudflare.com) for rendering charts. Cloudflare may log requests. All chart data is processed client-side.
• Advertising: If displayed, ads are served by third-party networks that may collect data under their own privacy policies.

We do not share, sell, or rent any user data to third parties.

4. Data storage

We do not operate user accounts, databases, or any system that stores your personal information. There is nothing to delete because we never collected it in the first place.

If you believe we have inadvertently collected your data, please contact us and we will investigate and resolve the issue promptly.

5. Children’s privacy

Our calculators are general-purpose tools suitable for all ages. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 (or the applicable age in your jurisdiction). If you are a parent and believe your child has provided personal information to us, please contact us.

6. Your rights

Depending on your jurisdiction (e.g., GDPR in the EU, CCPA in California, DPDP Act in India), you may have the right to:

• Request access to any personal data we hold about you
• Request deletion of your data
• Opt out of data collection
• Lodge a complaint with a data protection authority

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated “Last updated” date. We will not reduce your privacy protections without notice.
