How your numbers are calculated
This report blends the two systems most used in India:
- Mulank (Driver / Psychic number) — the day of your birth reduced to a single digit (e.g. born on the 23rd → 2+3 = 5). It reflects your core nature and how you instinctively act.
- Bhagyank (Destiny / Conductor number) — the full date of birth (day + month + year) reduced to a single digit. It points to your life path and the experiences you attract.
- Name number — each letter is valued using the Chaldean system and reduced. It carries the vibration of how you are known to the world.
- Soul-urge & personality — the vowels and consonants of your name, valued using the Pythagorean system, revealing inner desire and outer impression.

FAQ
Indian numerology vs Western numerology — what is the difference?
Indian (Vedic) numerology values letters using the Chaldean system (1–8, with 9 treated as sacred and not assigned to letters) and is built around the Mulank (driver, from the birth day) and Bhagyank (destiny, from the full date of birth). Every number is linked to a ruling planet (Sun, Moon, Mars…), and tools like the Lo Shu grid, name correction and lucky colour / day / gemstone are central. Western (Pythagorean) numerology values letters A–I as 1–9 repeating, and focuses on the Life Path, Expression, Soul Urge and Personality numbers, keeping the master numbers 11, 22 and 33. It leans more psychological than planetary. This report blends both — Chaldean name number, Mulank & Bhagyank with planets (Indian), plus soul-urge, personality and life path with master numbers (Western).
What is the difference between Mulank and Bhagyank?
Mulank comes from the birth day alone and shows your basic personality. Bhagyank comes from the whole date of birth and shows your destiny or life direction. When they are friendly numbers, life tends to flow more smoothly.
How do I check if my mobile or vehicle number is lucky?
Add up every digit (and, for a vehicle plate, the Chaldean value of each letter) and reduce it to a single digit. If that number is your Mulank or one of its friendly numbers, the number is considered supportive. This page does it automatically when you fill the optional mobile and vehicle fields and shows an Excellent / Favourable / Could-be-better verdict.
Which name number is considered lucky?
There is no single "lucky" number for everyone. A favourable name number is one that is friendly with your Mulank (and ideally your Bhagyank). The report lists the target numbers to aim for and suggests spelling variations of your name that reach them.
Should I change my name based on this?
Some people adjust the spelling of their name to align its number with their Mulank. Treat this as a personal, cultural choice — not advice. This tool is for entertainment and self-reflection only.
Why do master numbers 11, 22 and 33 appear sometimes?
In the life-path style calculation these "master numbers" are not reduced further, as they are considered to carry intensified energy of 2, 4 and 6 respectively. Indian Mulank/Bhagyank are still shown as single digits 1–9.
