How big a shed do I need for a 2-bay garage?
Roughly 800–1,200 sqft covered area: two lift bays (6m × 3.5m each), parts store, tool room, customer waiting and washroom. A 2,000 sqft plot with set-back allows a 3rd open-air bay for tyre / wash work.
Multi-brand vs OEM authorised — which is better?
OEM authorised gives volume + warranty work + parts margin, but you pay a steep deposit and equipment is dictated. Multi-brand has thinner margins but higher autonomy and you can pick high-value jobs. Most successful garages start multi-brand and add OEM in year 2–3.
What's the realistic break-even?

Can I open without ASE / Kfz-Meister certification?
