Age-band guidelines

  • 0–1 month: 60–120 mL per feed, every 2–3 h.
  • 1–3 months: 120–180 mL per feed, every 3–4 h.
  • 3–6 months: 180–240 mL per feed, ~5 feeds.
  • 6+ months: 180–240 mL + solids, 3–4 feeds.
  • Maximum: ~960 mL / 32 oz per day for older infants.
