Quick reference
- 0 K = 0 °R (absolute zero, both scales)
- 273.15 K = 491.67 °R (water freezing)
- 300 K = 540 °R
- 373.15 K = 671.67 °R (water boiling)
Type a temperature in Kelvin and the calculator returns Rankine using °R = K × 9/5. Both Kelvin and Rankine are absolute scales — only the step size differs (Rankine matches the Fahrenheit step).
