How slabs work
If you consume 250 kWh and your slabs are 0–100 at ₹4.5 + 101–200 at ₹6.0 + 201+ at ₹8.0, then: 100×4.5 + 100×6.0 + 50×8.0 = 450 + 600 + 400 = ₹1,450 energy charge. Each slab is charged only on the units that fall within it — not on your total.
